Women’s Strength Training

Thinking about getting more active in 2020? Join my class where you will have fun and get fit with an amazing group of women!

My class is designed for the Boomer and GenXer, yet is appropriate for women of any age and/or fitness level. I work hard to create a safe and welcoming space for all. Come join our supportive group of women, some who have been attending since the first class in May 2011!! Yep, we have been going strong for over eight years, now!

This strength training class teaches you how to properly use free weights (dumbbells) and stability balls to build your muscle mass and tone your body. Lifting weights will NOT make you bulky! It will help prevent (and reverse) osteoporosis, and will make your activities of daily life easier! In addition to strength training, we incorporate cardio-respiratory and flexibility segments, as well.

Our next eight-week session begins on Tuesday, January 7 and continues through Thursday, February 27. The class meets for one hour on Tuesday and Thursday mornings from 9:00 – 10:00 AM at the CrossPoint Community (Augusta Nazarene) Church Sanctuary on 4th Street.

Class members commit to an 8-week program and the cost is $100.00 ($6.25 per class), payable in full or in two payments of $50.00 each. You may also use a credit card.

Please contact Lisa to register ASAP. Call at 859-250-9318 or, email by clicking here. If you’d like to check us out before you commit, drop by on any Tuesday or Thursday at 9:00 AM to observe or join in! And, even if YOU can’t join us, please pass this along to another woman who you think could benefit! And, if you have any questions or need more information, please feel free to call, text, or email me!
