Welcome, Kentucky Living Health Club Members!
I’m Lisa Capehart and I’ve been in private practice since 1996 as an exercise physiologist and certified wellness coach. I help smart, capable women cultivate lasting changes in their lives from the inside out. I call this An Organic Approachâ„¢. To learn more about me, click here.
I’m honored to have the privilege to work with the Kentucky Living Health Club again this year. I’m looking forward to interacting with some familiar faces and lots of new ones on the KL Facebook page AND I’ll be posting weekly articles, interview and other items of interest under our umbrella theme of Successful Aging. Beginning in January, I’ll also be posting lessons from the self-directed course called, An Organic Approach: Cultivate the Authentic Youâ„¢ to support you on your journey of wellness.
My hope is that these weekly topics and lessons will facilitate discussion with other members on the KL Facebook page! Also, when you spend a few minutes each day in self-discovery, you will begin to understand the real reasons behind your commitment to your wellness and what may have stopped you in the past. This knowledge will allow you to create immediate changes in perspective AND develop healthy habits that will last a lifetime and allow you to age successfully.
This page is where you will find the links, lessons, articles and audio files that you can download at your convenience. Here’s how it will work:
• Each week, I’ll post new information on the KL Facebook page and here.
• You access the information by clicking on the link, downloading the PDF or downloading the mp3.
• Spend some time thinking about the topics that resonate with or apply to you and your situation.
• Jot down your thoughts and insights in a journal. Share on the KL Facebook page if you feel comfortable doing so.
So, here we go! (The information is arranged with the most recent first. If you missed anything from prior weeks, just scroll down.)
