“I Just Want to be ME!”
We’ve all been there – wanting to change something about our lives in order to feel like the “real me.” To Cultivate the Authentic You can be a challenging task. Women are asked by society, our families, our friends to fill so many roles and wear so many hats, that we often don’t know who we are anymore. We know know something isn’t right – we’re unhappy – but we just don’t know why.
Some of you have hints of who the authentic you might be. Maybe it’s finally making peace with food or leaving a relationship that is crushing your spirit. Maybe you want to start your own business or start an exercise program that fits your lifestyle. Perhaps you need to clean the clutter from your home by committing to get organized or clean the clutter from your mind by developing a daily spiritual practice. And, perhaps you’re ready to pick up that sketchbook again that you abandoned so long ago or travel the world like you always promised yourself you would.
Yet, all those dreams seem so big; you’ve tried before and you’re frustrated that you’ve been unable to keep those promises to yourself. And, it’s scary to think of “failing” again or taking a risk and leaving behind the familiar, even if you want something different.
Oh, yeah, I forgot – it’s selfish, too. We, as women, tend to the needs of those around us, sometimes sacrificing our own dreams, health and well-being. I’m here to tell you, ladies, it’s not selfish – it’s treating yourself with as much love and compassion as you treat others.
An Organic Approach: Cultivate the Authentic You
That’s where I come in. As your coach, I offer a safe, supportive, nonjudgmental place where you can do the work of becoming the authentic you. I will be at your side as your accountability partner, a listening ear – like a best friend who wants only what is good and right for you. You can trust that I won’t tell you what to do, but will help you define what you want to do because I know you’re the expert on you!
Organic growth is growth that occurs naturally – in its own time and from the inside out. My approach is to help you discover the gifts and strengths that will allow you to accomplish the promises you make to yourself. I will ask you to accept where you are right now with compassion and will help you to see beyond the judgment you have of yourself. Together, we will figure out what you really want by inviting you to define whatss fundamentally important to you – your values, your loves, your priorities – and envisioning your ideal life. This process helps to prepare the soil of your soul for the seeds of choice you want to plant.
Then, once those seeds are planted, I will help you nurture the new growth by encouraging you to move forward in small, manageable steps that will build confidence and resilience. You’ll realize that setbacks are part of organic growth and you’ll learn to see these challenges as opportunities to discover more about what works for you, instead of failure. You’ll become an expert at how to be more flexible, get past the feelings of overwhelm and get yourself unstuck, so you’ll successfully achieve that vision of the best you!
13-Session Coaching Program
My coaching program begins with an online Enneagram personality type assessment, a health consultation and a 90-minute initial session, where we develop the vision or “master plan” for the authentic you. Then, we meet by phone each week for 45 – 60 minutes for 12 weeks to celebrate your progress and to keep you excited and inspired. Between session email support is included.
Please call or text me if you have questions about coaching and how it could benefit you. I’d welcome a chance to chat with you during a complimentary 30-minute “get acquainted” coaching session! Read what some other smart & capable women have to say about their work with me below.

“Coaching with Lisa has truly changed my life for the better. I have never felt so empowered in my whole life. She helped me gain the courage and understanding that I needed to begin the journey toward being who I really am meant to be.”
– Brooke Bowles, Brooksville, KY
“Talking with Lisa every week helped me to sharpen my goals and realize exactly where my weaknesses and strengths were. I was probably not the easiest client because I am not too conventional but she was able to quickly adapt and figure out what made me tick in order to guide me in the direction I needed to go. Overall, I have found it easier to change habits that I need to change and I no longer punish myself with guilt for not maintaining my incredibly high standards. I feel as if I can meet any challenge and do not worry about ‘what if.'”
– Tanya E., Sioux Falls, SD
“Lisa has helped me to define my long term goals and showed me how to break them down into manageable segments. She has inspired me when I needed to be inspired, pushed me a little when I needed a push, and redirected me when I strayed from my path. She is a great coach, weaving her warm personality throughout her professional guidance so that I always felt like I was talking to an old friend. Thank you Lisa. You have helped me to change my life!!!!!!!!!!!!!!”
– Lesa Stewart, Wilmington, OH
“Lisa, I had a great experience with you. You put me on track for a great spiritual start and helped me gain the time and momentum to grow in a spiritual way. I have followed up this summer by reading Invisible Acts of Power by C. Myss and now I am helping others through my spirit. Thanks again.”
– Celine Quin, Potato Hill Farm, Wyoming, OH
“Lisa’s coaching program had a very positive overall affect on my well being. Going into the program I felt ‘out there,’ floating along on a day to day basis with no goals or aspirations of any kind. If someone were to ask me what I enjoyed or what I liked to do in my spare time, I couldn’t provide an answer. After the first week with Lisa’s coaching, I was moving forward in a direction versus treading water.”
– Terri Raney, Lawton, OK
